Fwiw, I am ridiculously long going into this report but no trades either way. There is still tomorrow, lol

I think there is a monster move yet to come. It will look like the COHR chart in time, but when or why that next leg starts is not clear in my crystal ball. It could be as early as tomorrow. It could also be into next year.

Good luck to all, Coot

I've had the same impression. SOO quiet. I have several thoughts:

1. Some have been burned so often by OLED earnings, why get optimistic?
2. Summer is coming, traditionally bad for OLED.
3. Some sold but are still "longs at heart" but wanting to get back in at a better price. (see #2)
4. Some are really long but simply not wanting to Jinx it.
5. We are a bunch of well meaning investors and at this frothy price it's hard to want to pull others in (like the always misleading investment houses always do with their upgrades.)

Personally, I've lightened up a bit and sold more covered calls, so I won't be too disappointed either way, so I feel I can talk about it. The market's reaction to several earnings calls on other big names have been very unpredictable and hard to understand and there is certainly market risk after a big market run-up in these tumultuous times.

I think it'll be a "great" quarter with 30-40% QOQ growth in revenue (both because of new screen manufacturers and a more favorable mix of emitters) but because of the big runup of late, the market reaction will be "show me more". Show me a new Samsung contract. Show me blue. Show me a bigger moat against TADF and microLED. Were I the market, that's how I'd respond. And I know that Management holds their cards very close to the chest and won't give too rosy an outlook. One thing I've learned is that I don't hear much more from them at conference call time than I've already learned from this board .
Good luck to all, (but of course that's impossible).
Thanks again, Slacker for this informative venue over these many years. -BOB
