I think you're confused as to how different the oil and uranium market is. No one has ever stated that the world is tight on uranium resources in the ground. the fact is 1. there is a politically motivated supply restriction against Russia 2. there may be a lot of uranium in the ground, discovered and not, but the capital requirements of operating a uranium mine are far beyond that of any oil field. Hence you see a million junior oil companies pumping 500 barrels a day. FACT: the mid term supply of uranium is tight. Will this lead to a price spike? I doubt it, but you will probably see rising prices until production can catch consumption. I think you will also see producers selling forward, which will keep prices from going to the moon.
