I use Firefox for all my browsing. I simply open another window using explorer which starts FreeStockCharts automatically. It runs on the machine all day like that and I simply click that icon anytime I want to look at a chart. It isn't in the way of anything, it's free and one heck of a good deal. Sounds like you may have placed too many restrictions on your needs. This idea is free and adequate.
