William - several factors could do it. (BTW, I looked at several biotech charts today that had large 97 sell offs, and a majority show signs of turning around - way too soon to declare a trend tho) A couple "market gurus"/newsletter writers, significant positive news from several biotechs (Phase IIIs, FDA approvals, more alliances & large milestone payments. etc. could make an undervalued sector hot, especially if the news is good enough to cause short covering. Case in point. May 96 Worth featured ISIP & VICL as potential "Next Microsofts". Feb issue came out over weekend with Update on ISIP (did anyone see it, any comments on VICL? - new issue has not hit streats here yet) Anyway, ISIP went bonkers, this afternoon probably had some short covering.

So anyway, I'm increasing my scrutany of this sector to try & spot a sector trend. Scott

OK William, your on. Since you essentially solicited my purchasing VICL, does that make u responsible if I lose my very modest stake?
Scott.

Woody Allan once remarked "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member", or something to that effect. Since my biggest holding is losing ground despite great EPS growth (-.72 .06 .15 .27 .45 last 5 qtrs) and Great balance sheet ratios (Profit margin 13.2, P/Sales 1.14, P/Cash Flow 6.3, ROE 53.2, ROA 36.7, Debt/Equity 0.00),
and my most casual pick, UNRG has been a 7+ bagger for me, the fact that I have been considering VICL for months & reading what I can
may not be a pretty omen for ya'll. So I need to ask, r u sur u want 2 hav me on this thread?
