I think you've all missed my point... Prior and during Carter administration Democrats been riding a wave of political dominance that began with the New Deal and ended with Carter's loss to Reagan which began the Reagan Revolution and the beginning of what has been a right wing dominance of politics for the last 35 years... My prediction is that grotesque imbecile Trump will be the last gasp of the Wingnut revolution that began in 1982, and in 2020 we will usher in the start of a Progressive Revolution...
