Al,

Greetings! Did I hear someone say "Hey, did you notice that the stock price held until the last 200k transferred at about 1 min to close." Check out fast.quote.com, key in "nxtl" and pick up an intra-day 1 minute graph of the action. The stock had been sliding from 26+ since almost the start of the day.

A Nextel filing with the SEC yesterday (5 Jan) was for an additional 10 M shares of common. I think Nextel has, what, 250 - 300 M shares out, so let's call it about 4% dilution; the 1 7/8 point drop today was about 8%. Maybe a few percent of that are due to general market drop. But I am curious about the huge block (800K+) that went off at market's close.

Al, I always enjoy your comments. If you're not already catching the Yahoo Nextel discussions, check it out. Lots there. (URL available if needed).
