Even when I was a CPA I wore jeans to work, I'd have occasional visitors from those culturally different places who looked me up and down and when they walked the door! I just laughed, and laughed. And they're smarter than us. They don't drive, they take taxis and limos. And they go to Harvard, not SMU or LSU. I think a lot of us culturally diminished types were put of a bit by the characterization we are lesser forms of American. We are usually pretty laid back but it didn't go over well I don't think with the truck-and-overalls crowd...
