No one here has written about how I like to play my shorts in the short term. If in a short period of time (No pun) i can get a drop of 3-4 points I like to sell puts on my position that are trading at high premiums so I can lock in another 3-4 points for the current month.

FWIW-if AVNT gets down to 14-15 range I will employ this strategy and take the money in advance and hope they expire worthless

David, I don't play puts, but you should make severalpoints on AVNT, especially if the market tanks as I think it will in the next 60 days...I think I gave you a safe cover point, ahead of where the pros should cover....Regards, Mark

P.S. Things are really looking up for us short traders....
