Thanks for the reply. The MYR is in the toilet: closed around 3.97 last Friday and this morning it opened at 4.66 (unconfirmed). Talk about rapid descent!

You appear to be confident that the SGD will hold at 1.80. I suppose that's possible, given the huge USD reserve the country has. But wouldn't competitive pressure argue for a lower SGD? Generally, people are nervous that China might decide to devalue to remain competitive.

BTW, any reason why the SES is being thoroughly trashed recently?
