I've experienced the links screen on occasion that you posted. It normally clears up when I refresh the page via the F5 key.

Yes, that is kind of how I saw it -- mostly white background, writing and no other colours.
Using Firefox here, but it's Ubuntu version.

A number of things can cause that, but you're not receiving or displaying the images and/or some html for the page.

One thing to be aware of though, is that Malwarebytes or other security software can cause the same thing to happen, but if that's the reason, it won't go away unless you put in a website exclusion to prevent the blocking of a source that the images and/or some html are coming from.

Also a source being blocked isn't necessarily the main website address.
