I don't know, but it might be why there is an injunction hearing. A preliminary injunction (before trial) issues when there is a high probability of irreparable harm. If the civil trial is delayed while the criminal trial is pending, then it would make sense for Cadence to try and enjoin AVNT from selling product in the meantime. Criminals, er, I mean, defendants, have the right to a speedy trial, which I'm sure they waived, but it still gets preferential treatment over a civil trial. Remember the OJ trials ... ? If anybody has any actual "information" on this issue I'd appreciate it.
