False, and this is why radical leftist look foolish trying to speak the minds of decent conservatives. You and Shepard don't want guns used as a means of deterring violent criminals. This is your idea of everyone being safer but it is not valid.

Two things you "supposed" wrong:

1. Decent conservatives want to be safer via the power of effective self defense preparation, making it unsafe for violent criminals who would act out on them.

2. No one thinks people are safer when guns are in the hands of violent criminals.
