I did the same. Canning the second COO in under two years means that the past December quarter results will be stinky again. This news means we should be looking at slight 0.02 EPS or even a loss. Stock already was discounting breakeven, so there may been only small impact here from the 7 5/8 level. Selloff down to 6 3/4- 7 even on the news (1/16/98). Earnings will be announced on Thursday 1/15 after the close. They need to either sell the Company to a stronger analog player with a fab (like Maxim or LTC) or at least can Art Stabenow (CEO and resident madman exec).
