My model gave me a clear buy signal today, the model itself is proprietary so I can't go into any specifics on it, but you could also construct Andrew's pitchfork and see how gold, actually all the miners, traded down below the mid tine and then came back above it and also closed above its morning opening... additionally, using a modified turtle strategy, you could see some of the miners form a nice break out pattern, still pending but it looks very clear to me...
