I called Compaq earlier to ask about the voltage on their K6 notebook. The guy told me he hadn't been trained yet on the product, and that they were going to get trained on it tomorrow. Apparently they've been getting large volumes of calls on it today, however.

I can answer the first question. My new Shuttle 603 Rev 2 motherboard lists 2.1 v for both the K6-266 and the K6-300. There are no jumper settings above that until 2.8v for the Intel MMX.
