"I'm pretty sure people like Tillerson, Mattis, and Carson aren't properly classified as "sychophants."" But sadly i-node they can't rely on their word meaning anything. Tillerson could make statements and 1 hr later Trump could completely undo him with Tweets. We are seeing that increasingly with Trump and his administration. Trump has whether by choice or not undermined his entire staff. If I met with Tillerson as a statesman I would first say "... listen have you watch Twitter and your boss? So you know there is nothing you say that I can even remotely count on. We can have a beer but then you gotta go."
