Big custom is hedge his ADBE long position by selling April 55 calls and buying April 40 put in 12,000 contracts!! (that's a leverage of 1,200,000 shares of stock).

I agree with your opinion that ADBE's jump is related to some short term AAPL optimism - either due to APPL profit or just the hype around big trade shows. When I read ADBE's SEC reports I see a company that is successfully making the transition to Wintel. Still, their short term profitability would be enhanced if AAPL remains strong, and so APPL's gain is ADBE's gain short term.
