Mr.B,

Great. I'll probably not get back until this evening with a move.

Til then

Mr.B,

If it is okay with you, until I can get some reference material, I'll stick with Algebraic.

WHITE ÿ ÿ ÿ ÿ BLACK

Looked at the gif link. Hard to argue with that.

Question: What is the terminology needed to save a game on the chess program. My system starts *.gam so I just added a "1" and clicked OK, but my system said this was not a proper file name. So what would be a proper file name. As you can tell, I've yet to play a game I thought was worth saving.

I was thinking about the person versus computer possibilty and decided if one were to lose, so what, it wouldn't really be like one actually lost to another. If one were to win, wonder what that would do to the person who used a computer to make their moves. Can you imagine how frustrated that person would be. I like to play the game just because of many of the reasons you also cited. Well anyway . . .

Your move.
