Called IR today and confirmed the numbers. 18M total, 6M inside, 3M institution and 9M float. Am glad I got them right. One important thing to remember with TSIS and any of these small companies is they don't have the polish and shine of large companies. The CEO may be a designer in the morning, manager at mid-day, sales person in the afternoon and may empty trash cans and sweep the office floors at night. When we call, who knows what were interrupting. They're busy and don't give us carefully prepared PR statements as a large operation would. They speak "off the cuff". They talk to us just as we would talk to anyone at a lunch counter; speculating, wishing and hoping. As a result, it's very easy for us to misinterpret and take things out of context. We turn their speculation into fact which ends up causing problems. They'll have to grow out of this just as any company does. But in the meantime, let's all be very carefull and make sure we ask good questions which are well worded. Don't assume anything. Confirm the answers you plan to post before hanging up. froland.
