Does the MM that was on the inside when your entered your order stay on the inside by the time this order times out? If he's not there anymore then either he pulled back his quote or he was hit by somebody else before your order got to him. I guess you can't do much about it besides trying Selectnet. I'm with Datek so I get zero order routing options. Datek and Island fit my trading style because I try to get in and out inside the spread on slower moving stocks but I'm looking into others anyway.
