Hi donald, Thanks for the nice note. You and I have both been to "hiatus island" and back. It's a breath of fresh air.... Now back to the grind of the market.. Doesn't look like a "January effect" is gona unfold (although still a little premature yet). One theory, "As the first five trading days of the market goes,,, so goes the general direction for the year". Maybe the AFC (Pittsburgh Steelers) is really gona win the Superbowl afterall this year (hohoho)... 98' will be the year of the "stockpickers market" and the mutual funds and index funds get to meet face to face with the "wizard of oz".
