Josh that still does not answer my question, one person recommends using clones to back you your system, I use images. If I was to use a clone and store it on an external USB hard drive, how do I restore it in case the drive becomes corrupt?

How do you restore a clone from a USB external drive to your main hard drive?

I have restore about 80 images over the years dating back to 2000. on 2 occasions I had 2 that failed to restore. They were verified as well. But failed.
