The transition to uberized autonomous cars is going to be dramatic once about half of cars are switched to autonomous. The rest will become less popular than people smoking cigarettes in a kindergarten. People in nice, safe, fast, autonomous cars will NOT want some stupid, drunk primate looking at their phone coming the other way at 100 km per hour with nothing but a white line to stop them crashing head on into the autonomous car. They will demand that industrial revolution cars be banned forthwith.

This is an umpty $trillion economic and technological paradigm shift looming large.

A lot of companies are going to go bust. Car insurers, mechanical and maintenance shops, panel beaters, 80% of the car makers, traffic light industry, car parking buildings.

Elon Musk spits the dummy: money.cnn.com Threatens to quit Trump's advisory group if Trump quits the Paris CO2 Groupthink Club.

Paradigm shift happens!
