I wonder if its related to the "World Bank Group" - not sure
what the relationship is to the "World Bank"

worldbank.org

Notice the reference as follows:

"It presents the solutions in terms of the World Bank's development strategy highlighting the three legs of the development stool -- human development, environmentally sustainable development, and private sector development. "

It does seem like money would be coming from the IFC though.

Faroudja Demonstrates Cutting-Edge Video Solutions

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 1998--

Rear Screen Projectors, DVD Player, Line Multiplier and

Video/PC Scaler Present Incomparable Home Theater and Video

Experiences

Faroudja Laboratories (Nasdaq/NMS:FDJA), the Silicon Valley firm widely regarded as a leader in high-tech
video-enhancing technologies for professional and home environments, will showcase its ability to provide solutions for
high-quality video, including HDTV.

This will include demonstrations and exhibits featuring its new high-resolution projection systems and unmatched line of video
processors at CES '98, beginning Thursday, Jan. 8, in Las Vegas.

Highlighted in particular will be Faroudja's new RP4800 and RP5800 Rear Screen Projection Systems, DV1000 Digital
Video Disc Player, VP300 Line Multiplier, and Presentation Plus Video/PC Scaler. All combine innovative technology with
the unprecedented image quality that has come to be expected from Faroudja components.

"Faroudja's advanced technology products define the state of the art in home theater image reproduction," said Peter
Halenbeck, Faroudja product manager.

"Our goal -- to provide solutions for high-quality video -- demands products that have the capability to work with whatever
display device is chosen, anywhere in the world our products are used. Faroudja's unique and proprietary technologies, and
the acclaimed video processing circuitry built into each of its products, help make this possible."

RP4800 and RP5800 High Resolution Rear Screen Projection Systems

The new RP4800 and RP5800 Rear Screen Projection Systems mark Faroudja's continuing emergence as a company
oriented to consumers as well as professionals.

Engineered to complement Faroudja's cutting-edge line multipliers and video processing components, the projectors have
been designed to deliver the highest level of video performance now attainable, and can be easily integrated into any home
theater, taking full advantage of all analog, digital and HDTV formats.

Both models feature built-in Faroudja line doublers for superb, film-like picture quality, and high-performance screens tailored
for the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio.

Advanced video processing capabilities assure compatibility with any of the proposed HDTV signal formats, as well as
data-grade resolution with all computer systems. Both models accommodate both NTSC and PAL broadcast standards.

Both models employ seven-inch CRT lenses to generate dramatic widescreen viewing surfaces -- 58 inches wide for the
RP5800, and 48 inches wide for the RP4800. Naturally, both models offer high scan rate capabilities, superior video
performance, and the highest resolution attainable in rear projection television.

The RP4800 is available now and the RP5800 will be available in March, at suggested retail prices of $18,900 and under
$35,000, respectively.

DV1000 Digital Video Disc Player

Designed to provide Faroudja customers with an optimum video input source for its line of video processors -- the VP400A,
the VP250 and the LD200 Series -- the DV1000 stands out as a state-of-the-art component.

Setting a standard of DVD excellence, the DV1000 delivers superb picture quality with the assistance of low-noise,
high-linearity, time-aligned video circuitry that includes Faroudja's custom enhancement chip. In audio, it stands ready for the
best home theater has to offer with enhanced capabilities for Dolby Digital (AC-3) Surround Sound and DTS Digital Surround
Sound.

Custom, high-performance YUV switchable video outputs are augmented by electrically isolated AES/EBU-compatible, ST
glass optical and calibrated 75-ohm coaxial audio outputs.

Additional video outputs support composite and Y/C video, and analog audio. Built to last, in a deluxe, rack-mountable,
heavy-gauge, vibration-resistant chassis, the DV1000 comes with an easy-to-use, full-function IR remote, while two-way
RS-232 control adds to its versatility.

The DV1000 DVD Player is available now at a suggested retail price of $5,495.

VP300 Line Multiplier

The VP300 Line Multiplier is the latest refinement in Faroudja's extensive line of video processors that includes the LD200
and VP250 Line Doublers/Video Processors and the VP400A Line Quadrupler.

The VP300 is ideally suited for use with mid-priced CRT projectors employing seven- or eight-inch lenses that can handle a
higher scanning rate than that provided by line doublers, but that are unable to handle the demands of line quadrupling.

Like all Faroudja video processors, the VP300 incorporates proprietary adaptive comb-filter technology for superior color
reproduction and reduced video artifacts, a patented detail-enhancer circuit that further boosts resolution, and patented
film/video motion-tracking/motion-compensation circuitry that prevents motion artifacts.

The VP300 gives home theater customers the freedom to have their video projector scan at its optimum frequency, eliminating
the need for costlier processors with multi-scan capabilities, and allowing consumers and installers more flexibility in matching
projectors with video processors to achieve a satisfying film-like image quality.

The VP300 is available now at a suggested retail price of $19,950.

Presentation Plus

The Presentation Plus Video/PC Scaler offers users real-time processing for high-resolution video within computer graphics.
Presentation Plus allows a standard video signal to be genlocked, or synchronized, to a computer graphics display and
employed for high-resolution multimedia presentations or large-screen home theaters.

The video signal may be from any of a variety of sources, including NTSC/PAL Composite, Y/C, RGB or YUV. Most
computer formats are also supported, including VGA, SVGA and XGA.

Presentation Plus adds tremendous flexibility to any corporate presentation, and does so seamlessly and at a level of quality
that enhances the overall impact. For the home, it allows for the seamless interaction of computers within the home theater
experience.

Presentation Plus digitally converts a video image from an interlaced to a progressive scanning mode, and maps it into a
user-sizable window. All elements of the video window, including its fully adjustable aspect ratio, are controlled from a
user-friendly Windows 95-based software package.

Presentation Plus also incorporates Faroudja's patented video enhancement technologies for absolutely optimum picture
quality, regardless of a video's source, even with large-screen projection displays. Full video quality is retained with window
resolution levels up to 1,024 x 768 pixels.

Presentation Plus will be available in February at a suggested price expected to be below $30,000.

The RP4800 and RP5800 Projection Systems, the DV1000 Digital Video Disc Player, the VP300 Line Multiplier and the
Presentation Plus can be seen, along with Faroudja's other outstanding products, at the Las Vegas Hilton, Booth 5316, during
CES.

Faroudja Laboratories produces state-of-the-art video electronics for both the professional broadcast and consumer markets
and holds more than 40 patents in the field of video processing.

Faroudja's products improve picture quality dramatically, both by increasing the number of display lines reproduced
on-screen, and by correcting noise, color and motion errors.

Faroudja broadcast products are found in top professional video systems, production studios, and digital-satellite head-end
