My understanding is that the company has indeed "heard from the marketplace" and will begin to update investors on a basis more frequent in the past. I also understand that the coating/laminating equipment continues to perform well since its "burn in" in 12/97.

I'm expecting OEM shipments and announcements of contracts this quarter, as I have in the past, and I don't really expect any significant price activity either up or down until these announcements. I continue to be confident that they will happen soon, however.

J.M.

With all due respect, I disagree, and as I have said in the past, it is not management's job to try to figure out what is happening with the stock price on a day to day basis. Their job is to make a profit, and they should be concentrating on honing down the production processes so that they can ship product from the production line to OEM's and make an annoucement that they have a contract and plan to ship product in x days. Only by announcing a contract and shipping product will we see the hoped for gains in stock price. Then we will have to see what drops to the bottom line. It has been my experiance that the more noise from management regarding stock price, the less credible management is. Please give me an example of a large company which makes annoucements when their stock price goes up or down. Usually, they comment that they make no comment on the stock price movement.
