Why isn't he getting Congress to pass the laws he ran on? In a parliamentary system, that might be possible, with straight party line votes. With the separation of powers delineated in our republic, it's not quite that simple. Getting Congress, even with majorities in both Houses, to agree on major policy positions is about as easy as herding cats. Trump can only do what he can do, from the position he's in. And best of luck for him to push his agenda through.
