Italy and Greece still badly need a process of flushing-out corruption from their society, yet there's very little indication this will happen any time in the foreseeable future.

Of course Russia continues to be a complete cesspool of corruption, but that goes without saying.

Humans are deeply flawed. Corruption knows no political borders. I predict that corruption continues to get worse in most parts of the world. FWIW.
