The same thing occurred to me about two years ago as I got better access to the Web and saw what was there. I thought that Compuserve and AOL were going to have a tough time surviving. Good thing I didn't act on my intuition and go short back then. Compuserve is going to disappear by acquisition and AOL is the Energizer Bunny of the internet.
