I think BP got off way cheap. I also think BP would acknowledge that - of course maybe not out loud by privately. It was NOTHING to BP - just money which they turn around and collect from their customers. Better to be like Japan and allow heads to roll. The top management should be sent down the road and there should be claw back procedures in place to discourage that it won't happen again. Why on Gods name you apparently think the taxpayer and the fishermen and the landowners should have to pay the price of BP's folly is just weird. Maybe you're Brit?
