And they're what serve to give everyone equal footing. Without them, you'd have something akin to the family trusts of 130 years ago. The reason I support the corporate form is I understand it, and I understand the other forms of entities. Thoroughly. The reason you oppose them is that you are confused by them. While you see inequality as evil I see it as a natural by-product of success. And the corporate form is what prevents it from being more one-sided than it is; where ownership can flourish in the hands of ordinary people who make good decisions. Some of the people posting here own stocks or do from time to time; it cannot be a totally unknown item to you.
