If you want to call it something besides corruption, fair enough. I have accomplished my purpose. Maybe lots of us are really using misusing the term. There are lots of words that these days seem to be used sloppily as generic insults. Just the general coarsening of discourse, I guess. On Golden Girls, BTW, Blanche was, indeed, a slut. Because she was promiscuous. As opposed to being a comedienne with ghastly taste. But interfering in a private transaction and using mafia tactics I am not familiar enough with that incident to know what to call it but it does not seem to suggest corruption.
