Stephen,

Boeing looks great! They will be operating in full swing in 98' and are shooting towards a 48 plane per month delivery rate during the year. I havn't initiated coverage on the company because I'm sure every money manager on the planet will be recommending them as the year progresses. My job has been to locate and report on the "overlooked" companies and stay one step ahead by focusing on which will beinifit during this exceptional high growth phase with the increased trend toward outsourcing.
I think there is room for every one to have some Boeing in thier portfolio at this price level because by the middle of 98' things will really be heating up for them financialy as delivery rates increase. Remember, there is a lag time between orders and deilvery dates and planes (some were ordered as long as 18 months ago) are just beginning to be delivered.
It's the largest company in the industry and it's the fastest growing industry. This will be evidanced in the order rate increases I expect in the near future (in addition to the record number that have already been placed)as airlines throughout the world use their some of their newly generated profits to modernize and add to their exsisitng fleets.
Boeing is also in the forefront of the fast growing commercial and military space market and will see increases in orders for their military aircraft division for new and exsisting programs.
That's where companies such as Magellan come into play. Boeing can't do all this on their own.

All the best,

Harry
