Why NLV is staying around $19 is a mystery to me, given all of the tremendous press as of late and the apparent equity/investment interest by these cable operators, not to mention MSFT.

Clearly, whoever owns the conduit into the home (distribution) will be a major player in the telecommunications, media and internet industries well into the next millenium. Cable companies appear to be headed in the right direction, having gotten the sign-off by the master of the world, Bill Gates, through his intention to invest $1B (and then some, I'm sure). What's good for cable, is good for the cable box makers. You can't evaluate NLV (GIC) on the basis on PE alone at this stage of their new life cycle. Through that away.

If NLV/GIC is not trading in the mid $20s to low $30's in 6 months to a year, I'll eat crow!
