The shorts are out now that the market is off - not surprising. It appears to me that the entire sector is taking a beating today (with ASND being the only exception). In fact the tech sector isn't the only one that is off. So, I'm not sure how much I'd be reading into this intraday decline.

It puzzles me that the "shorts" were quiet over the past week or so as the stock was surging and now that the stock is off, due to market dynamics solely, we're all back on the "short" bandwagon. I suspect however this stock will continue to fluctuate in the mid-50's for another week or two and then will surge a bit prior to earnings - as is typical for CSCO possibly to 60 again. Those of you eager to short it during this period are being brave IMO.

CSCO is percieved to be, and is, the leader amoung the networkers. This will continue to help the stock stay strong I suspect so long as money continues to flow into the mutuals. Again, just my opionin.
