I'm still fumbling around with Edge (I remember when trying new programs on the computer used to be fun).
But I have discovered it lets you import your bookmarks from Firefox. That was the biggest chore.
So far it is extremely fast... the way chrome and firefox used to be. I'd recommend you give it a try.
You've already got it on your Windows 10 computer...

Ken,

I started using the Opera browser about a year ago. It's fast, has a resident pop-up killer and has VPN, if that would be useful to you. It is easy to set up and easy to get rid of if you don't like it. You have nothing to lose but an hour.

I have been using the following add-ons that may have been keeping FF running fast with no problems.

HTTPS Everywhere eff.org

Reload Tab On Double-Click addons.mozilla.org

Suspend Tab addons.mozilla.org

Add Block Plus (turned off on SI) addons.mozilla.org
