Sequent / CNBC interview

Alok,
<< As a SUNW shareholder, I doubt this agreement to work together means much in terms of long term impact on Sun's core business model. >>

Yes, I guess I agree on this.

Regarding these interviews: I saw CNBC in spain via satellite during my recent vacation. Also saw it in N.Y. last spring. In principle it could be great. But what really bugs me are these worthless 3 minutes interviews, as it happens often with ignorant anchors who would be completely lost if they lost their earpiece.

I wonder if there is no program available where one interviews one guest for at least 2 or 3 breaks so he can develop something meaningful. In an environment as the one at CNBC or (CNN at that), I'd feel rather insulted if you cut me off after 3 minutes.

I agree these interviews are not very convincing and valuable most of the time.

BTW, did anyone of you saw the one (around Christmas or 12/29 or so) with the CEO of a electronics retailer from Texas, Radio Shack or Tandy or so. An elderly guy who looked like Ross Perot and was stupidly grinning the whole time. It was such a bloody f&*+ing joke in itself!

Greetings, Thomas
