I assume you one of those people who doesn't like change even with it is an improvement. Most of the older options are still there they just are not as obvious

I am in my mid 60's and have progressed from CPM in the early 80's through all versions of Dos and Windows and multiple version of Apple OS and yes there is a learning curve with all new technology that is part of the hassle and challenge. But in the end, it is usually worth the time and effort.

Enable 'God Mode'
Are you a power user who wants access to your PC's nitty gritty? Then "God mode" is for you. Here's how to access it:

Right-click on the desktop > New > Folder. Re-name the new folder with this bit of code:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

To enter the "God Mode" window, double-click the folder and go nuts.

Have you ever consider the Microsoft Office Subscription? I have used it for 3-4 years now and think it is actually the best way to go. Over the years I had bought the various versions of Office which can be pretty expensive especially if you are dealing with multiple platforms. You get the complete Suite. Plus it is updated often with improvements.

This is not a sales pitch I just know from my own experience it works well. I buy the $100 per year version which if you look around can be bought a little cheaper. It gives me 5 copies of Office to install on various machines along with one Mac version for my sons Mac Laptop
