JS: Re: FBN buyout of certain other firms.

Apparently you missed the FBN posts last year about a 5 company mega-merger. I spent weeks trying to work out a merger with other Y2K firms. Actually, it was a hostile takeover, but I didn't let the other firms hear those exact words.

I finally got 3 of the 5 firms to agree when a mega-bucks entrepreneur came along and upped the ante for the other 2 companies. Ruined the whole plan. The entire deal fell apart.

As a result, those Y2K firms that were the targets of the takeover ... uh ... merger ... are now trading at less than half of what they were then.

Major bummer, dude.

Debate? You want a debate?

The real debate is between FBN and all the other Y2K companies. As you know, FBN has never lost a contract to anyone, and, furthermore, has never ever shown a loss. How many other Y2K companies can make that claim?

The only chink in the FBN armor is that we don't own any carrier pigeons like that Y2K company in Canada. Of course now that we have Svejk I really don't have a need to visit our mail room very often so, now that I think of it, I can't say for sure what is or is not in there.
