The Quad-Core i5 CPU is only 4th gen Haswell (3.20 gigahertz Intel Core i5-4460). Before I attempted the installs I did not disable my Norton Security AV/Malware suite, or disconnect USB devices or disconnect Internet Sercice. What I plan to do now is wait for a new WSUS Offline Update that includes v1703 (latest download is dated March 19th) and use it to install the latest package files. Cheers, Eric E-L -

Failed upgrade to W10 Creators Update (1703) and reverting (2) to starting point ... This is what my screen displayed for installed 1606 build before and now displays after the update attempt, the 80 or so install of 1703, and the subsequent automated restoration to what was already installed: We've all suffered update issues in the past for reasons it is sometimes difficult to explain but there is plenty of good news here on this update that I forced and scheduled. • The install disturbed nothing. It left me exactly where I started. • My system is up to date for 1607. • I can (and have) restart normally and relatively quickly. Cheers, - Eric L. -
