Seagate Technology (SEG) 20 5/8 -1 1/4: disk drive maker expects to report a substantial operating loss for the 2nd qtr, due to continued pricing pressure and weak demand for drives; Wall Street was expecting earnings of $0.03 per share; puts revenues at $1.65 bln; plans to take a $250 mln charge in the 2nd qtr. The company was originally scheduled to report results tomorrow. That date has been moved back to Jan.20...

TSI Inc (TSII) 10 1/8 +1/8: manufacturer of measuring and control instruments says it expects to report 3rd qtr earnings of $0.13-$0.15 per share vs yr-ago net of $0.19. The one analyst covering the stock was anticipating earnings of $0.19 this qtr....

Some more excitement tomorrow? This is the kind I can do without.
