Where did you get less than 1000 pounds? Google thinks 1200 lbs That is 1000lb less than I thought it is and getting down to a reasonable weight overall. But a town tootler could use only 200 lb and get 120 km range.

Half an hour for a part charge is still much too long to be messing about and takes too much space for too long too.
