Just got off the Merrill Lynch Technology Earnings Preview Conf. Call.
Lucy Painter has estimates for this quarter of 89 cents per share. Inventory down to 2 to 4 weeks as compared to 10 weeks last year. The BTO (Build-to-order) transition has been completed in Europe already (six months ahead of schedule).

Please be aware that L. Painter has been lot more bullish on CPQ than most analysts

Ken.....I made a purchase today at 58 and some change after waiting weeks for CPQ to bottom.....Today's pricing is the pullback from CPQ's run-up I told you about recently.....I wouldn't have bought here if I thought it would go back much further......George
