Bernie Sanders: Anti-Christian, pro-Muslim, violator of the Constitution
by David Leach • June 9, 2017

Since losing the Democrat nomination for president to Hillary’s bought-and-paid-for Super delegates, Bernie Sanders, the self-avowed socialist, atheist, and lover of communist dictators, reclaimed his label as an “Independent” and returned to the Senate Budget Committee as the top Democrat.

Recently, Russell Vought was nominated to become Trump’s Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget. As part of the confirmation process, Vought appeared before the Senate Budget Committee where Sanders diligently works to destroy free-market capitalism while advancing the socialist utopia he promoted to America during his presidential campaign.

Following the committee hearing, Sanders has come out in opposition to Vought’s confirmation but not because of his views on the budget. No, Bernie-boy opposes Vought because he’s a Christian—specifically a Christian who actually practices what he believes.

Last year, Vought wrote a piece for The Resurgent defending his alma mater, Wheaton College, for terminating a professor who claimed that “Muslims and Christians worship the same God.” In the piece, Vought concluded that Muslims “do not know God because they have rejected Jesus Christ his Son.”

Sanders was outraged, calling Vought’s conclusion “indefensible” and “Islamaphobic.” Sanders further stated that people like Vought are not “what this country is supposed to be about.”

Besides his probable violation of Article VI of the Constitution which prohibits a religion litmus test, we should ask Senator Sanders what he feels America is about. Is it anti-Christian and pro-Muslim as he appears to be?

Could be.

During the recent election for a new chairman of the DNC, Sanders supported Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) for the job. You may recall that Ellison is the first Muslim ever elected to Congress, and he enjoys a too-close-for-comfort connection with Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, famous for its anti-Semitic, anti-American positions.

In his run for president, Sanders enjoyed the support of tens of millions of voters, which means that there are a lot of people who think like he does. And that should be very concerning to conservatives everywhere.
