Good question... another burst bubble??? The FED is very good at blowing bubbles and then blowing them up... and with the impending threat of higher rates, those with enough disposable cash will very likely buy homes ahead of the rate increase, and pay cash since home prices would then likely rise... this home buying is ALL speculation which is the first ingredient of a bubble... homes aren't being bought and built out of residential demand, but only out of speculative demand... speculative markets ALWAYS end in disaster... all bubbles eventually burst... this happened about 10 years ago, maybe longer, and it's happening again right now...
