They occasionally have recycling events around my area that will take an even more diverse list of items, like wood, tires, batteries, and hazardous materials.
Yep we have those as well, makes it handy as they have them close to home. On the topic of recycling, when you get a new computer and the other one gathers dust, you want to get rid of it. I did that on a lot of computers I owned and am sorry I took them in as I now miss them. I kept one computer in its day it was a sub-notebook, made by Compaq. Here is a photo of it I found as its burred in a box. I bought it back in 1996 just because I wanted it. It was really cool in its day. Paid 1600 for it. Also had a PC card CD-Rom for it as well.
