Interesting hypothesis on 300 mhz K6's:

We're not seeing announcements of this product yet because the chips AMD is producing on its .25 micron process which would otherwise be suitable to run at 300 mhz are instead being sold as higher margin 233 mhz notebook chips. Or, even if the notebook chips aren't higher margin, AMD is making the strategic decision to enter the notebook market even though it is foregoing greater profits on the desktop in the short run. Comments?
