Emory,,,I have heard of this new product also. They say it can fool a thermal detector. .....Well I will have to see it to believe it.
,,,,,I think it will have to be darn good to fool a person who looks at hundreds and thousands of diamonds each day!
. Just so you know, A Russian fancy yellow diamond showed up at GIA a few years ago--It was synthetic and very good. GE is able to grow diamond on mirrors. A major defense contractor can melt diamond onto the surface of products.
. Your stone will follow a long line,,,Remember YAG....... I hope this can be produced more cheaply than the sound cooker process which is used for CZ....... I'll bet they use diamonds to cut and polish.....Just some thoughts.
