I downloaded and installed the Iobit uninstaller.

It doesn't contain the program in the list of "recently installed" programs.

The program was a "demo" for a crypto currency wallet. I wonder if it didn't actually install a program on my PC, and instead just ran a program out of the .exe file (if that makes any sense).

So....perhaps the .exe file was the program (it put up a browser that looks like a crypto wallet), and it didn't install any program on the PC?

Does that seem to make sense?

Anybody know, if a .exe file installs a program on a Windows PC, would it then need to be included in the Uninstall Programs option in Control Panel/Programs and Software?

I'm thinking since it's not in the Uninstall window, and Iobit Uninstall doesn't see it, perhaps it doesn't exist, and I don't need to worry....?
