Trump has only filled 17 political jobs out of 189 for the Pentagon, Homeland, and State Dept. Imagine if we hit a *real* crisis somewhere.

I think Trump is too lazy to staff the government the way it should be. He has a record of treating appointments like Sec of State as if they're reality show contests, milking them for all the press he can generate. When you get below those big jobs the interest just isn't there so he isn't interested in doing the work.

So far the worst crises we've faced under Trump have been the ones he's tweeted up himself. What will we do if there's another 911 attack on the US, Russian invades a NATO country, China invades Taiwan, NK attacks SK, Iran sinks a ship in the Persian Gulf?

We do have a couple good appointments (finally) in Mattis and McMaster, but frankly if Mattis's nickname wasn't Mad Dog, we could have ended up with Gary Busey as Sec of Defense.
