Eliz, Do you have microsoft internet Explorer, if so :
highlight the web address
Then do ctrl plus c
un highlight it
then go to where you want to drag and go to edit and paste

See if that will work.

Eliz2-to copy a URL into a message, move the cursor to the URL (address box) and click the left mouse button to hightlight it. Then click the right mouse button and a dropdown menu will appear. Select COPY then go to where your are copying to, click EDIT, then PASTE.

Eliz2: A simple way to post a link or message

The way I do is:

1. High light the link or message.
2. Hit <ctrl> c
3. Click at the location you want to post
4. Hit <ctrl> v

I think I learnt this from some earlier post on this thread. It works.
